Thomas E. Mignin, age 90 years, of Archbold, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017.  He was born October 18, 1926, at Stryker the son of George and Marguerite (Jones) Mignin.  He graduated from Archbold High School and The Ohio State University.  He married Janet Ebright on September 19, 1954, and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2012.  A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he was an engineer for LaChoy Food Products for over 30 years, and was a consulting engineer on many of the industrial buildings in Northwest Ohio.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He enjoyed woodworking, model trains, outdoor activities, and farming.  He was a member of the Archbold United Methodist Church, and Lions Club.

He is survived by three children, Marjorie (Kevin) Kelley of New Albany, Mark (Linda) Mignin of Sylvania, and Matthew (Sharon) Mignin of Archbold; seven grandchildren, Laura Kelley, Sarah Mignin, Joseph Kelley, Brian Mignin, Margaret Kelley, Mary Kate Kelley, and Elizabeth Mignin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Short Funeral Home in Archbold.  Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 9-11AM on Saturday.  The family suggests that memorials be given to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
