Socorro "Cutie" Conlu Fankhauser of 3086 Blaine Circle, Deltona, Florida, died on June 14, 2015, in Deltona. Born in Roxas City Philippines, on September 1, 1932. She received her Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. Cutie is survived by her husband Tom, her daughters Farah Crisanto and Reena C. Orosa, son-in-law Nikki, granddaughter Monica, and grandson Migi. She has 4 living sisters and 2 brothers in the Philippines. Celebrating the memory of our dear beloved Cutie, is not complete without knowing her persona. She had many talents and interests - sketching, drawing, and fashion designing. She is the family's letter-writer where through words she'll entertain you with her fascinating recount of events. A very likable lady and friend. Cutie is a good and avid amateur golfer back in Manila, winning in some ladies' tournaments. She was also an excellent swimmer in backstroke, a member of the college team in competition. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, at 10:30 AM at Short Funeral Home in Archbold, with Rev. Stephen Stanbery officiating. Friends may call in the funeral home after 9 AM Monday. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery.
