May 19, 1958 — Apr 25, 2017
Ralph F. Krueger, age 58 years, of Archbold, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017, in his home surrounded by his family, after complications from a stem cell transplant. He was born May 19, 1958, in Wauseon, the son of Kurt and Gertrud (Bader) Krueger. A 1976 graduate of Archbold High School, he married Cynthia Radabaugh on May 3, 1980. A life-long resident of the Archbold area, he worked in the family business and later became co-owner of Krueger Construction.
Ralph was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed golfing. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, pheasant hunting, and spending time in his woods. He spent summers at his cottage on Bird Lake and took great pride in the timber frame home he built for his family.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, three children: Derek (Josie) Krueger, Dexter (Melissa) Krueger, and Katie (Jason) Wanemacher all of Archbold; 12 grandchildren: Kurt, Eli, and Clara Krueger; Anna, Zach, Noah, Ruby, and Leah Krueger; Caleb, Tatum, Scarlett and Silas Wanemacher; his mother, Gertrud Krueger of Archbold; one brother: Gary (Sue) Krueger of Archbold; one sister: Christa (Ken) McDonald of Bloomfield Hills, MI. He was preceded in death by his father.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at 10:30am at the Archbold Evangelical Church with Pastor Calvin Rychener officiating. Friends may call at Archbold Evangelical Church from 2-8pm on Monday, May 1st. The family suggests that memorials be given to Pheasants Forever or Miracle Camp.
