Rachel R. Roth, age 77 years, of Archbold, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 14, 2012, at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. She was born November 30, 1934, at Fisherville, VA, the daughter of James and Croma (Dudley) Dudley. She married John J. Roth on August 6, 1953, and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2006. A resident of the Archbold area the past 55 years, she was a homemaker, worked at Lauber Manufacturing and retired from Form Tool, both in Archbold. She enjoyed bowling, and was a member of the Archbold Evangelical Church. She is survived by three sons, James Roth, Ronald (MichelAnn) Roth, and David Roth, all of Archbold; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Deborah Roth in 1972; 6 brothers; and 2 sisters. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Short Funeral Home in Archbold with Pastor Jesse Kahler officiating. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 2-8 PM on Friday. The family suggests that memorials be given to Ridgeville Corners Volunteer Fire Department.
