Pamela S. Wanemacher, age 66 years, of Wauseon, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, June 23, 2017, from an apparent heart attack after beating cancer. She was born October 7, 1950 at Napoleon, the daughter of Donald and Annabell (Blair) Minnich.  A 1968 graduate of Liberty Center High School, she married Gregg Wanemacher on March 3, 1983.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed animals, Ohio State Buckeyes and camping.  She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Burlington.

She is survived by her husband, Gregg; five daughters, Teresa (John) Dempsey of Tecumseh, MI, Tina Drewes of Morenci, MI, Rachel (Monica) Wanemacher of Sheboygan, WI, Emily (Cory) Creque and Samantha Wanemacher both of Wauseon; five grandchildren, Ashley, Liam and Logan Dempsey, and Blake and Arya Creque; and a brother, Tom (Deb) Minnich of Kaukauna, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Jeffrey Drewes.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. James Lutheran Church with Pastor James C. Strawn officiating. Private interment will be in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery.  Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 3-8 PM on Monday.  The family suggests that memorials be given to St. James Lutheran Church or Relay for Life.
