Michael K. Dailey, age 58 years, of Archbold, passed away Sunday night December 28, 2014, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center following his courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 8, 1956, at Van Wert, the son of Thomas and Betty (Miller) Dailey and married Ana Moreno on March 24, 1984. A resident of the Archbold area many years, he worked as an automobile Industrial Engineer at Dana Corp. He enjoyed bicycling and reading his Bible. He was a member of the West Unity Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Ana; a daughter, Danielle Dailey of Toledo; his father, Thomas of Van Wert; two brothers, Stephen (Leilani) Dailey and Kevin (Sandra) Dailey, both of Van Wert; and a sister, Kathy Martin of Elida. He was preceded in death by his mother. Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the West Unity Church of Christ with Preacher Bruce Goosman officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery. Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 2-8 PM on Thursday.
