We come together to celebrate the life of a loving Father, Grandfather, Son, and Brother,   Martin Luther Kersh, known to friends and family as "Red" who suddenly and sadly moved on; on Thursday,  February 21, 2019 at the age of 71 years.

Red and his vivid personality will be lovingly remembered by many people. His children: Thomas (Carmen), Jeremiah, Tinishia, and Christy (Giovanni). Red will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Thomas Jr, Angel, Unique, Jeremiah, Ariana, Alex, Julian, Xavier, Gaby, Yanelli, Danny, Jaleesa, Alexis and Damian, by his Brother Levon and his sisters Lillian and Leigh. Red was predeceased by his mother Lovie Mae Jones, Father Luther Kersh, and Brothers Marvin, Luther, Levester, Lester, Dan and Ray.

He was happiest when he was with his family, and he had a passion for fishing and gardening.  He was known for his contagious laugh, and his kind and selfless spirit. Red was always willing to do whatever he could to help and put a smile on your face, family, friend or stranger. Red lived a life filled with love, joy, and happiness and all he wanted to see was his family come together as one.

Although he will be cremated, a service will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 1:00 p.m., at Short Funeral Home, 500 N Defiance St, Archbold, OH, with Rev. Paul Reichert officiating.
