Marlene Fay Rupp, age 60 years, of Archbold, passed away on Monday morning, January 23, 2017, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center .  She was born on September 14, 1956 in Montpelier, Ohio to Andrew and Doris (Short) King.

Marlene attended Pettisville School and married Jeff Rupp on January 8, 1983.

She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and was baptized at an early age.   She was a member of Archbold Evangelical Church.

A lifetime resident of Archbold, she was a homemaker, worked at Bil-Jax Inc. and performed all the accounting duties at Flex-Com in Archbold.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff and two children; Mandy of Archbold and Kelby (Katie) of Archbold, parents, Andrew and Doris King of Archbold, one brother, Jerry (Stephanie) King of Archbold and two sisters, Bonnie (Jim) Badenhop of Archbold and Kathy Rupp also of Archbold.

Friends may call at Archbold Evangelical Church from 3-8 PM on Thursday, January 26.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 27 at 3:00 PM at the Archbold Evangelical Church with Pastor Jesse Kahler officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Growing Hope Ministries or Archbold Evangelical Church.
