Margeret Ann (Heer) Rupp, age 96, of Archbold, Ohio passed away Wednesday afternoon on August 4, 2021.  (Due to complications of a stroke and Covid 19)  She remained loving and Feisty until her last breath. She was born to Nelson and Minnie Heer on June 16, 1925 in Bryan, Ohio.  She lived in Burlington for her school years.

Margeret was a 1943 graduate of Archbold High School and worked at the Farmer's and Merchants Bank until she was married in 1946.  She and Bud enjoyed 60 years of matrimony before his passing.  She also worked at the family business, Bud Rupp's Carpeting for over 25 years.

Margeret spent her spare time reading, embroidering, and making counted-cross stitch Christmas ornaments, wall hangings, and tablecloths.  She enjoyed going to Devil's Lake on weekends and spending time with her husband and children.

She is survived by two sons, Edward (Andrea) Rupp of Blair, Nebraska and Joseph (Jean) Rupp of Archbold.  She also has a daughter Mary Rupp of Archbold.  She has six grandchildren: Valerie Stock, Christy Grondin, Stephanie Perry, Jake Rupp, Jessica Rupp, and Ali Zamora.  She has 9 great-grandchildren: Carlin and Meryl Isaacson, Autumn and Chase Cornell, Erika and Kaite Grondin, MaKaela Waite, and Lilly and Jasmine Zamora.

She was preceded in death by Paul "Bud" Rupp (husband); her oldest son Michael Rupp and her brother Clifford Heer and sister Ruth Heer.

Margeret requested no visitation or funeral services.  Her ashes will be buried next to her husband with only her immediate family present.  Memorials can be given to Evan Church (Archbold) and American Legion (Archbold) or Archbold Fire & Rescue.  www.ShortFuneralHome .com
