Linda D. Eash, age 70 years, of Wauseon, passed away Saturday morning, June 2, 2018, at the University of Toledo Medical Center.  She was born September 22, 1947, at Redding, CA, the daughter of Junior and Genevieve (Weber) Hewes, and married Sanford Eash on November 7, 1969.  A resident of the Wauseon area many years, she was a homemaker and worked at Perfection Finishers before retiring in 2001.  She enjoyed reading, taking pictures of her family, movies, and vacationing out west.  She was a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church in Wauseon and the Wauseon Senior Center.

She is survived by her husband, Sanford; three children, David Eash of Wauseon, Vonnie Singer of Defiance, and Junior (Bridgett) Eash of McClure; two step-children, Allen (Kelly) Eash of Bradenton, FL, and Susan (Kim) Hopkins of Pioneer; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Dennis Hewes and Richard (Becky) Hewes, both of Mesa, AZ; and one sister, Kathy (Walt) Hughes of the state of WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Russell; and a son-in-law, James Singer.

Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Haven Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Lance Wyse officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery.  Friends may call at Haven Heights Baptist Church from 2-8 PM on Thursday.  Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
