Judith A. Avina, age 68 years, of Wauseon, passed away following a brief illness Sunday afternoon, May 13, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 18, 1949, at Wauseon, the daughter of Darwin and Donna (Vogel) Neifer.  She married Paul Avina and they had three children.  A lifelong resident of the Wauseon area, she worked at Sauder Woodworking in Archbold for 40 years.  She enjoyed fishing, boating, family trips, playing cards but mostly time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by three children, Jackie Weirauch of Pettisville, Mike (Charity) Avina of Edgerton and Teresa (Vinny Mazur) Avina of Deltona, FL; and four grandchildren, Dylan Weirauch, Kelsey (Justin) Pursel, Taylor (Jordan) Weber and Eathon Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Richard, Melvin, Gerald and Gene Neifer.

Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 1-6 PM on Saturday.  Private interment will be held in the Pettisville Cemetery.   The family suggests that memorials be given to CHP Hospice or Donor's favorite charity.
