James A. Yager, age 58 years, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 10, 2013, in his home. He was born October 31, 1954 in Toledo, the son of Harold and Delores (Tank) Yager. A lifelong resident of the Toledo area, he worked at Grainger Industrial Supply. He enjoyed the company of his dog, Puddins, and his collection of firearms. He is survived by three children, James (Jennifer) Yager Jr. of Perrysburg, Jillian (Nick) Schoendorf of Metamora, and Jennifer (Rick) Sigmon of Perrysburg; six grandchildren, Bailey, Tyler, Lane, Sara, Emma, and Nora; and two sisters, Jeannette, and Diane. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be private. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be given to Toledo Human Society or the Toledo Chapter of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI).
