Imogene Roth, age 91 years, of Pettisville, passed away July 5th at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. She was born October 26, 1932 at home in Harlan, IN, the daughter of Ervin and Esther (Lederman) Beck. They later moved to Pettisville, where she graduated from Pettisville High School.  She married Richard "Skip" Roth on March 24, 1951. As a family they attended Pine Grove Mennonite Church near Stryker. In her later years she attended Pettisville Missionary Church. She was a homemaker when her children were growing up and later worked at Helen's (The Hen House) and the Doughbox and the Barn Retaurant all in Archbold.

She is survived by a son, David (Lizbeth) Roth of Cincinnati and grandchildren Lindsey and John; and a daughter, Jody (Ron) Gerig of Pettisville and grandchildren, Brett and Jessica Gerig, Kristina and Robb Hunter and Lauren and Joe Lonchor along with great-grandchildren, Jack and Connor Gerig, Charlotte Hunter, and Olive, Sonny and Truman Lonchor; a brother, Ervin (Phyllis) Beck of Goshen, IN; and a sister-in-law, Alice Hershburger of New Smyrna, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three siblings, Helen Frey, Vincent Beck and Kathryn Stuckey.

Her family and the Petttisville community were her Joy!!

A private family service will be held on Tuesday at Short Funeral Home with Pastor John Siegel officiating. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM on Monday.  The family suggests that memorials be given to the Pettisville School Foundation.
