Helen Wlasiuk passed away May 30. Born on March 26, 1936 in Ukraine. Helen lived a life defined by independence, faith, and pride in heritage and remained connected to her roots throughout her life. She took great pride in the traditions and culture.

A woman ahead of her time, Helen chose a path uncommon for women of her generation. She devoted herself to a successful career at AAA and her professional accomplishments were a source of great pride.

Her faith was an important part of her life. As a devout member of the Orthodox Church she found strength, community, and guidance through her faith.

Helen was known for strong convictions and determination. Her independence and perseverance left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

She is survived by her twin sister Maria Dackiw, 6 nieces and 7 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Anna Wlasiuk and her brothers Isaak, Seaman, and Mikolaj and nephew Gregory Wlasiuk.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th at 9 AM with a service to follow at 11:30 AM both at Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Warren, 22642 Ryan Road Warren, MI 48091. Burial to follow in the Archbold Cemetery.
