Geraldine "Geri" A. Shoemaker, 88, formerly of Fredericktown, and Mt. Vernon, Ohio.   Died, Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Hillside Country Living. She was born in Ubly, Michigan, the daughter of John Alexander and Sarah Alice (Fordon) Gillies, and preceded in death by her parents and former husband Thomas Gordon Shoemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Smith (William) of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Lisa Villalovos (Edmond) of Archbold, Ohio. Grandchildren Matthew Villalovos, Emily (Tyler) Meyer, of Archbold, and Kristin (Josh) Grant of Maumee, Ohio and Taylor Smith, Jacob Smith, Walker Smith of Spartanburg, and three great grandchildren Conner Meyer, Addisyn Meyer and Abel Villalovos.

Private family services will be held.
