Genevieve Beaverson Nofziger, age 86 years, of Archbold, passed away early Saturday morning, March 17, 2018, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.  She was born June 22, 1931, at West Unity, the daughter of Estel and Blanch (Blaser) Beaverson and married Richard D. Nofziger on September 24, 1983.  A resident of the Archbold area many years, she was a homemaker and worked at ForeCraft for 9 years, and then did custodial work at Harrison Lake and Archbold Area Schools.  She enjoyed gardening and lawn care, and was a member of Christ Church in Wauseon.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; four children, Bradley (Diane) Hildebrandt of Archbold, Rebecca McDonald of Tampa, FL, Julia Bryan of West Unity and Sydney Patterson of Montpelier; four step-children, Randall Nofziger of New Mexico, Russell (Hannah) Nofziger of Willcox, AZ  Rowena (Bill) Downing of Wauseon, and Rachelle (Fred) Ziegler of Toledo; 5 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Beaverson and Ralph Beaverson; three sisters, Rozella Sintobin, Maxine Shelt, and Dorothy (Phil) Cogar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clifford Beaverson, and a sister, Marjorie VanPelt.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Christ Church in Wauseon with Evangelist Marshall Harbour officiating.  Interment will precede at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the Pettisville Cemetery.  Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 2 – 8 PM on Tuesday.  The family suggests that memorials be given to Christ Church in Wauseon or Fulton Manor.
