Gail Biggs, age 58 years, of Archbold, passed away Friday morning, February 28, 2014, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center. She was born September 2, 1955, at Hot Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Clayton and Pauline (Mendenhall) Keenom, and married Rick Biggs on August 15, 1993. A resident of Archbold many years, she worked at Con-Agra for 35 years. She is survived by her husband, Rick; two children, Cindy (Shaun) Whitaker of Ney, and Larry Betts of Defiance; 2 grandchildren; four brothers, Lloyd, Charles, Donny, and Floyd Keenom; two sisters, Norma Tidwell, and Edna Harman. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Laura Jean Betts; and a brother, Ray Keenom. Services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at Short Funeral Home in Archbold with Pastor Mike Harbour officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 1-8 PM on Wednesday. The family suggests that memorials be given to the donor's favorite charity.
