Eric Robert Godwin, age 27 years, and his fiancé Jennifer Snow of Indian Mound, TN, passed away unexpectedly Thanksgiving morning, November 22, 2012, in a house fire in Indian Mound. Eric was born October 10, 1985, in Toledo, the son of Kathryn (Zielinski) and Robert Godwin. He attended Archbold Schools and Four-County Career Center, and had worked in construction. He is survived by Jennifer's four children; his mother and step-father, Kathy and Con Wyse of Archbold; his father Robert Godwin of Toledo; three brothers, Jeremy Yglesias of Santa Monica, CA, Nickolas Wyse of Archbold, and Robert Godwin III of Toledo; a sister, Danielle Wyse of Archbold; and grandparents, Evelyn and Ollie Zielinski of Ruskin, FL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Godwin, and Alice Godwin. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 1st, at 11 AM at Zion Mennonite Church in Archbold with Father Gary Ferguson as Celebrant. The family will receive friends following the service at a luncheon in the church fellowship hall. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
