Eilene L. Bowman, age 84 years, of Archbold, passed away Monday afternoon, April 18, 2016, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice. She was born April 29, 1931, at Revloc, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Gladys (Ziegler) Morgan, and married Charles "Gene" Bowman on May 4, 1950. A resident of the Archbold area 50 years, she was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She attended the Assembly of God in Bryan.

She is survived by her husband, Charles "Gene"; one daughter, Linda Jones of Middlebury, IN; a son-in-law, Rodney Jolly of Wauseon; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Hershel Morgan and one sister, Yuonne Anderson, both of Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Pamela Jolly; two brothers, Kenneth Morgan and Richard Lee Morgan.

Services will be held on Friday at 2 PM at Short Funeral Home in Archbold with Pastor Kevin Boulis officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 6 – 8 PM on Thursday.
