Diane Kay (Everhart) Schrickel, age 76, born June 22, 1945 in Morehead City, North Carolina; passed away July 29, 2021.

Diane, a native of Clyde, Ohio; was the daughter of the late Richard and Janet Everhart.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Lynn Edwin Schrickel.  Married March 2, 1963, they are parents of; daughter Jacqualine Westhoven and husband, Brian of Napoleon, Ohio; son Michael Schrickel and wife, Brigitte of Archbold, Ohio; daughter Kimberly Miller and husband Charles of New Bern, North Carolina.  Diane, known as Nanny to her grandchildren, was the loving and doting grandmother of; Morgan (Kevin) Miller of Gilbert, Arizona; Alayna (Chase) Heinze of Napoleon, Ohio; Max (Alexa) Westhoven of Phoenix, Arizona; Bryant (Courtney) Schlade of San Diego, California; Madeline Schrickel of Charlotte, North Carolina; Carly Schlade of New Bern, North Carolina; Alex and Matt Miller of San Diego, California and great-grandson Cal Heinze of Napoleon, Ohio. Also surviving are sisters Suzanne (Gary) McCormick of Mesa, Arizona and Patricia (Rick) Kubis of Racine, Wisconsin.

Diane was an avid sports fan, whether it was cheering on Lynn as a young man playing and coaching, being the #1 supporter of her children and grandchildren, to watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. Diane was a warm-hearted, kind, generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend that will be truly missed.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Archbold with Father Stephen Stanbery officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.  Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 5-7 PM on Monday, with the Rosary at 6:45 PM.
