Obituary

It's with great Sadness we announce the passing of the wonderful man, David William Buksa on June 25th, 2019. He lived life to the fullest,  even in his last days.  He would always have an encouraging word and offer prayers to anyone in need. He would offer a complement or praise to those expressing necessity. He volunteered at the local food bank. Hand delivering food at times to those in need. He was always just a phone call away. He never failed to offer help. His comical sense of humor left his family and friends in stitches. He was known as the "Dairy Queen King". Also well known for his classic slippers and PJ pants. He faced the toughest battle of his life. He placed his own daily struggles aside and continued to put others first. He was a great story teller. He had adventures everyone wanted to hear about. He could have a group of people hanging on every word. He made mistakes but was able to fight humor in them. He could relate to every social and economic standing. Not a man of success but rather a man of value. He brought so much into the lives of our grandchildren. He was their biggest cheerleader. He never failed to stop by unannounced with ice cream or a small gift. Always asking them about their day. He will greatly be missed!!

David is survived by the love of his life, best friend and soulmate Toni Winchester Arias. His parents Wayne and Bonnie Buksa. Sister Deneane Kyles (Brad Cameron) Step daughters Jessica Salas (Alex), Nicki Lirot (Michael), Angela Castillo (Jason). Nieces Kaela Kyles (Michael Grozelle), Kassandra McFaul (Skyler) Grandchildren Zoë Castillo, Jace Castillo, Giovanny Salas, Nixon Salas. Great nephews CJ, Callen, Jackson, and Parker. Great niece Audrina. Five sister-in-law laws and five brother in laws. Eight nephews and four nieces. Three great nieces four great nephews. One great great nephew  and one great great niece. Predeceased by his loving brother in law Christopher Kyles.  Gone from our sight but forever in our hearts.
