Beth Anne Neuenschwander, age 51, of Archbold, met her Savior face to face in the early hours of Friday April 19, 2013 at Community Hospitals & Wellness Centers in Bryan following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 2, 1961, a daughter of Willard "Bill" Grieser and Marilyn (Liechty) Grieser, and married Steven Neuenschwander on October 4, 1986. She was a 1980 graduate of Pettisville High School and received her Registered Nursing Degree from Hesston College. Beth worked as a certified (RN-C) OB Nurse at Community Hospitals & Wellness Center in Bryan where she served for one month short of 30 years. Beth and her family attended Archbold Evangelical Church. Her children, family, and friends were Beth's priority, as she thoroughly enjoyed being involved in their lives, but the single-most importance in Beth's life was serving her Lord, Jesus Christ. Beth was a solid example with a gentle spirit, tender heart, and unmistakable compassion. Beth is survived by her husband, Steve; three children, Shay (Jason) Rufenacht of Archbold, Shem Neuenschwander, and Shannon Neuenschwander at home; her parents; one brother, Michael (Elisabeth) Grieser of Goshen, IN., and one sister, Debra (Randy) Short of West Unity. She was proceeded in death by a son, Abram James Neuenschwander (1994), and her grandparents: Charles and Sophie (Rupp) Grieser, and Peter and Martha (Yoder) Liechty. The celebration of Beth's life will be held Wednesday April 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Archbold Evangelical Church. Burial will follow the service, and a meal will be held after the burial. Family and friends may call in the Fireside Room at Archbold Evangelical Church from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday April 23. The family suggests that memorials be given to Archbold Evangelical Church or to the donor's choice.
