Biography

Michael W. Mix, age 64 years, of Wauseon, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, in Wauseon. He was born on July 13, 1946 in Sandusky, Ohio, and was the son of Ralph and Irma (Retzke) Mix. Mike was a school teacher.

Surviving are his mother Irma of Sandusky; one sister Gretchen Mayfield of North Ridgeville, OH; and three brothers, Craig (Tammy) of Madison, OH, Timothy of Popano Beach, FL, and Brian of Honolulu, HI.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at the West Clinton Mennonite Church near Pettisville from 2 – 6 PM on Wednesday with a memorial service to begin at 6 PM with Pastors Jess and Naomi Engle officiating. Memorials should be given to the Pettisville Baseball team through the Pettisville Athletic Department.
